EACH invited to present at Tackling Hate Crime National Conferences

in

Two recent conferences gave professionals an invaluable insight into tackling homophobic and transphobic crime ...

Tacking Hate Crime in Every Local Community on 25 February 2010 in central London looked at tackling hate crime in all its forms, with a specific focus on working in partnership to challenge homophobic crime and incidents. EACH's Executive Director was invited by the Centre for Parliamentary Studies to speak about how EACH's services respond to homophobic incidents nationally and locally and participated in a panel Q and A with other speakers.

Capita's national conference Tackling Homophobic and Transphobic Hate Crime, also held in central London on 25 March 2010, provided criminal justice system and related professionals with the opportunity to learn how to fortify their work to challenge homophobic and transphobic crime in the communities they serve. Capita once again invited our Executive Director to speak at this, our third Capita conference, on the issue of homophobic bullying - a presentation to which Jonathan also invited the Anti Bullying Alliance's SW Regional Adviser.
