Homophobic Incident Reporting Service

Click or call in confidence

EACH provides a confidential, homophobic incident reporting service covering the West of England. If you have been the target of a homophobic incident or crime call our Actionline on 0808 1000 143 or report it online now using our online self-reporting form to receive the same support.

Who should use this Reporting Service?

Anyone who has been the target of a homophobic incident or crime, in the street, at work or where you live, anywhere in the West of England.

Is this a police or council Reporting Service?

EACH is a registered charity that is completely independent of both the police and councils. All bodies fully support our service but they do not have access to any personal information you choose to give us, without your consent.

Who will answer my call?

Your call will be answered by EACH staff who will listen to you, provide you with professional, confidential guidance and decide, with you, the best course of action to support you.  If they are busy speaking to another caller or with a client, and your call cannot be taken, please call again within our designated hours.

Will the call be free?

Calls are free from most landlines or payphones and many mobiles. Our number should not appear on a landline bill when the call is free. Calls from some mobiles will be charged but you will be told this by your mobile service provider before your call comes through to us.

What further support can I receive?

Everyone who lives, works or travels throughout the Avon and Somerset area can online report through our website or call, in confidence, our Actionline to report a homophobic incident. EACH's staff will listen to the explanation of what you've experienced and do all we can to help resolve your situation.

If you live within Bristol or South Gloucestershire, EACH can offer a casework service, providing confidential, one-to-one support to individuals who have been, or continue to be, the target of homophobic incidents or crime. EACH is striving to extend our coverage area for all our clients.

The Homophobic Incident Reporting Service is supported by the Safer Bristol Partnership, Bath and North East Somerset, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset Councils plus their respective Community Safety teams, and Avon and Somerset Constabulary. We work however completely independently of these agencies.
