How to get involved

Join the Reach Steering Group

Help us to make an important change in society by working with the Reach Project. We are working with young people aged 13-21 to challenge homophobic, sexist and cyberbullying through a range of activities and events. This will especially suit young people with an interest in publicity and promotion; web and social media; event organising; research/writing; and workshop delivery. However, anyone with an enthusiasm for the project is welcome to apply. All candidates must be committed to equality and challenging prejudice.

The steering group meets once a month at The Station, Bristol. Dates for upcoming meetings are below:

  • Thursday 22nd May 2014 – 5-7.30pm
  • Thursday 19th June 2014 – 5-7.30pm
  • Thursday 17th July 2014 – 5-7.30pm

Travel and lunch expenses are covered.

When I found out about this project from a friend I felt the need to get involved because it would be a brilliant confidence booster. I also felt it would be a good opportunity for me to express my personal opinion about different situations, and I love working within a group and making new friends.
